About ViewMax Solutions LLC

We, at ViewMax Solutions, have developed a unique protective laser filtration system which has been designed to accommodate the variation of facial size and morphology as well as the shapes and sizes of virtually all of the loupe and eyewear shapes. Ease-In-Shields’™ unprecedented and double-patented shape provides the ultimate in vision protection along with the benefits of incredibly fast and hygienic placement and removal without removing the loupe or eyewear from your face. Their polycarbonate construction is light and strong and less prone to fogging; and unlike other “filter inserts”, our protective coverage is total and certified by Laservision USA’s Safety Laboratories. Our product’s excellence has been recognized by the prestigious Cellerant Consulting Group, which in 2017 honored Ease-In-Shields™ with their coveted “BEST OF CLASS” AWARD!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get expedited shipping?
Yes you can. We use FedEx and they have several expedited options.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We have the ability to fill orders quickly, but timing for a product to be received will often depend on whether it is being sent outside the USA.

If the Ease-In-Shields™ does not fit my Loupes may I return them?

If the Ease-In-Shields™ do not seem to fit with your loupes, please evaluate this based on the following FAQs before you consider returning them; as it is often an issue of one’s loupes needing readjustment! If adjustment of the nosepiece of the loupes (and rarely the arms) does not rectify the problem, please call us and we will accept your returned Ease-In-Shield™ (without scratches, dents and breaks) for a full refund less shipping and handling costs.

What do I clean my Ease-In-Shields™ with?

Clean your Ease-In-Shields™ with a gentle soap and warm water. We recommend using the special cleaning cloth provided with your EIS™, dry and gently rubbing in a small circular motion. Avoid abrasive cleaners, chemicals and cloths.

When I place the Ease-ln-Shields™ behind my eyewear, the 'resting tabs' don't touch the frame. Is this normal or OK?

Yes, it’s dependant upon your own facial physionomy and the shape of your eyewear as to whether the resting tabs actually rest on the eyewear themselves or ‘float’ above the frame. Either way is perfectly fine, and you will notice that in either case your eyes are still fully and comprehensively protected.

I tend to wear my loupes a bit further down my face and noticed that the Ease-In-Shields seem to "rattle around" in that space between my face and the loupes. They also tend to shift if I lean over to look directly in the patients mouth. What can I do about this?

If you wear your eyewear further down your face or if it is ill-fitting, your best solution is to use the optional, included head strap. It is only slightly more cumbersome to use and it will snug the Ease-In-Shield properly into position and keep it in place.

I have my loupes fairly tightly strapped on and noticed that they are very slightly displaced when I insert the Ease-In-Shield. I find that this little bit of repositioning takes the objects that I am looking at are out of focus. How can I resolve this?

Oftentimes, especially if you have worn your loupes for quite a while without adjustments or if they are ill-fitting, the nosepiece will have shifted slightly to where you are no longer looking through the center of the magnification telescopes. At this point you are only barely ‘in focus’ anyway, and even a slight displacement is enough to ‘finish the job’ An easy test for this is to slightly raise or lift your loupes, even with the Ease-In-Shield in place, and see if your visual acuity returns. In that case, a simple adjustment to (the nosepiece of) your loupes should solve your problem.

Dr. Anthony S. Podrow

Founder & President

Dr. Anthony S. Podrow grew up in the West Los Angeles Area. He attended Los Angeles Valley College and California State University, Northridge for his undergraduate degree and graduated from Georgetown University, School of Dentistry (in Washington, D.C,) in 1979 with the DDS degree.

In 1980 he moved to British Columbia, Canada and soon after began a solo family dental practice. He retired in 2013 after 32 successful and personally satisfying years in the same office.

In 2002 Dr. Podrow was diagnosed with glaucoma; which had been controlled up until 2013 through eye drops, medications and some surgical procedures. Eventually he lost the central vision of his left eye within a matter of about three weeks and along with it, his 3D perception, necessitating the sale of his practice. This issue has made him acutely aware of the need for proper eye protection to be available; and the need for every dentist to make certain that they use it! In his research and development phase of creating Ease-In-Shields™, Dr. Podrow learned of several colleagues who, rather than forgoing the use of their magnification loupes, chose to forgo the required eye protection! He feels strongly that this is a sure recipe for disaster, and has made the manufacture of this product seem like a “moral obligation”!

Dr. Podrow was compelled to create Ease-In-Shields™ when he purchased a dental laser and found that the accompanying safety goggles and safety glasses could not be used with dental magnification loupes! When a simple and effective solution to this problem could not be found, Dr. Podrow created his own and realized that there was a great need for this easy to use, protective and elegant product in the dental field.
